ABSTRACT
The year 2004 marks the 25th anniversary of the "Journal of Financial Planning." It was originally called the "Journal of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners" in 1979 and was published quarterly with a mission to inform its readers of innovative and constructive tools in financial planning. The lead article was on seven neglected and misunderstood aspects of Keogh plans, written by Stanley J. Cohen, a New York-based stockbroker, financial planner and member of the institute's board of directors.
