ABSTRACT
The article focuses on several books received, on the U.S. Department of Defense and Armed Forces. They are "Russian & Soviet Battleships," by Stephen McLaughlin, this large format book details the history of every large armored ship that served in the Imperial Russian and Soviet navies; "Barracuda 945," by Patrick Robinson, depicts an Iranian born former commando becomes the head of the Middle East's most feared terrorist organization and hijacks a super-sophisticated Russian nuclear submarine to launch an attack on the United States and "Havoc's Sword," by Dewey Lambdin.
