The article discusses Bryan R. Roub's ascension to the chairmanship of Financial Executives International (FEI). The chief financial officer of Harris Corp., Roub has been a member of FEI since 1975. As a member of FEI he has seen the organization's emphasis shift from peer networking to professional development. He believes it is important that FEI make its views known on the issue of global accounting standards. As chairman of FEI he wold also like to strengthen the links between the national organization and its state chapters. INSET: The Roub File.
