ABSTRACT
This article focuses on provisions of the Gramm-Leach-Balley Act related to privacy. A survey by accounting firm KMPG found that banks and insurance companies need to better prepare for the enactment of this legislation as it relates to privacy requirements. Many states are also passing their own privacy laws as well.
