ABSTRACT
This article describes the process of creating the conservative right wing in Galicia. The uniqueness of the Galician oasis stands out during the long journey through the desert that supports in Spain. It also examines the strategic shift that constitutes acceptance of autonomy and the differential sense of Galicia and the relative success in attracting local elites during the political transition and consolidation of democracy.
