This article provides information about the Austin chapter of Financial Executives International. It has around 100 members and covers central Texas. Ed LeCroy leads the career services committee which helps fellow members find employment. It is a unique service within the organization. President Jim Taets stresses increasing membership and supporting the career services program. The chapter tries to hold an annual Academic Day to honor deserving students from local colleges with a small scholarship.
