This article discusses the decision making of chief financial officers with regards to information technology (IT). The Financial Executives Institute (FEI) and the Computer Sciences Corporation surveyed FEI members. Preparing for the Y2K switch was among the most vital priorities, consuming valuable time and money, as was discerning the appropriate level of IT.
