ABSTRACT
The article focuses on how the Internet contributes to success in business, such as strengthened supply chains and closer connections to customers. Particular attention is given to the financial situation in the electronics industry. Information technology (IT) spending amongst traditional and Internet-based corporations have increased by four to six percent in 2001. This gradual growth in IT investments focuses on how executives need to know that electronic commerce technology is an essential tool as it pertains to competing effectively in the market.
