Reports on a delay that has plagued a proposal in the United States for reserving for life insurance products, the alternate to Guideline Triple-X, the Valuation of Life Insurance Policies model regulation. Cancellation of an October 1998 joint conference of the Life & Health Actuarial Task Force and the Life & Annuities `A' Committee; Possible full adoption by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
