Objective: To study the correlation between IL-6, IL-1β,TNF-α and the formation of osteoporosis in rats, to provide reference for the related mechanism of cytokines and osteoporosis. Methods: Selected 90 female rats which were purchased by our hospital from January 2015 to November 2015 as the research object, and were randomly divided into observation group(n=45) and control group(n=45). Osteoporosis model was made in the observation group, control group was not treated, compared the ratio of local bone mineral density, osteoblasts, bone trabecula and osteoclasts of two groups in visual area, the cytokine levels in bone tissuewas, and analyzed the correlation between IL-6, IL-1β, TNF-α and osteoporosis in rats. Results: The vertebral bone density(BD), intervertebral disc BD and small joint BD of observation group were significantly lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05); the ratio of bone trabecula and osteoblasts in the visual area were significantly lower than that of the control group,while the ratio of osteoclasts in the visual area was significantly higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05); the IL-6,IL-1β and TNF-α of observation group were significantly higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The IL-6, IL-1β,TNF-α were negatively correlated with vertebral BD, intervertebral disc BD and the small joint BD of the rat vertebral body. Conclusion: The cytokines is closely related to osteoporosis in ovariectomized rats, performance in IL-6, IL-1β, TNF-α are negatively correlated with vertebral BD, intervertebral disc BD and small joint BD of the rat vertebral body.
