ABSTRACT
One of the characteristics of the IT training market over the past two years has been its unpredictability. IT training has a tendency to amplify the trends set by the overall IT market, which indicates that spending will remain at current levels for the indefinite future, believes David Pardo, director of IT Skills Research. Career-minded IT professionals want learning tailored to their own circumstances, says John Hall, director of Simtek Training Technology. In order to accurately measure the value to the business, smart organizations will take measurements before training, as well as after, says industry analyst Alan Bellinger.
