ABSTRACT
The article provides several developments related to information technology training industry. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services have adopted the latest version of Pathlore's LMS to enable staff to manage, track and report on training at offices in 50 U.S. states and Puerto Rico. Knowledge Platform, a provider of customized e-learning solutions in Asia, has opened Knowledge Platform KK, a subsidiary in Japan. Scotland's Interactive University has signed a deal with the Nanyang Institute of Management in Singapore, which will allow 1,500 Singaporean students the chance to study at Heriot-Watt and Stirling universities. Red Deer Public Schools in Alberta are to deploy Magic Lantern's Insite e-learning video service to help teach 10,000 students enrolled in elementary and secondary schools in the state.
