ABSTRACT

The Italian government is deploying Saba Inc.-powered e-learning portals to support a learning project for public officers at several local administration centers. Dubbed PhiloPubblico, the project was designed by Italian e-learning specialist to deliver and support a flexible training program that can be updated according to learners' needs. Saba provides the system's backbone. The system is currently being rolled out and the plan is to add more administrations across Italy. While the government has yet to confirm staff numbers using the system, it is believed to be in the thousands.
