ABSTRACT
Macromedia Inc. is to buy U.S.-based help authoring firm eHelp Corp. for £38m. EHelp's flagship offerings include an automated end-user help tool, dubbed RoboHelp and a Flash-based software demonstration product, Robo-Demo. Macromedia plans to combine these solutions with its own authoring family to create content and software simulations. In January 2003, Macromedia acquired privately held Presedia Inc., a provider of online presentation and e-learning solutions for sales, marketing, corporate communications and online training, for an undisclosed sum.
