Sleep Country 3Q sales climb 13% to C$48.7M

Sleep Country Income Fund, parent of Sleep Country Canada, said third-quarter sales rose 13% to $48.7 million as earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, or EBITDA, advanced 14.2% $7.8 million compared to the same period a year ago. Net income was $5.3 million in the latest period. No comparable figure is available, the company said, because it had a different capital structure before it went public last April. The company is Canada's largest bedding retailer.
