ABSTRACT
The article presents a research to establish the analytical procedure for halosulfuron methyl in sugarcane leaf, juice and soil under sugarcane plantation and to find harvest time residues status of the herbicide in these commodities. It mentions that High pressure liquid chromatography was used for the analysis of halosulfuron residues in sugarcane juice, leaves and soil. It states that sulfosulfuron degraded rapidly in soil and was not detected in soil, wheat grains and straw at harvest.
