ABSTRACT
The article focuses on homosexuals and homosexuality and the discrimination against homosexuals. Through the process of objectification and mystification, a unified conception of homosexuals is constructed. Psychiatrists have played an important role in reaffirming the natural sexual order of society. Traditionalists attempt to explain homosexuality as a form of deficiency by employing the concepts of natural and unnatural order of things. It is through moral coercion in the context of a mystifying medical rhetoric that homosexuals and homosexuality must be fought. Traditional psychiatrists and social scientists mediate homosexuality oriented persons through objectified and mystified categories of the Natural Order.
