The article offers a background of the interview with some certified financial planners in the U.S. who graduated in 1973. One of the outstanding comments came from Joe Dillman who has been in the financial planning business for 54 years. There are 43,000 financial planners in the U.S. with certification, an annual compound growth rate of 23 percent from the 1973 class of 42 people.
