Only One New Clerk On High Court Is a Minority

Reports that following a trend of white dominance which provoked a wave of anger among civil rights leaders, only one of 34 Supreme Court law clerks who was hired for the 1998 term is a minority. Indication that no Afro-Americans or Asia-Americans are among the clerks; Proposed plan for a demonstration in front of the Supreme Court on October 5, 1998.
