ABSTRACT
This article presents views of Damon Pendlebury, one of the first students to graduate from the masters in science in passenger transport management/logistics course, on his learning experiences. He felt that the first module was the most difficult one to study. He, however, passed the Module One examination and produced an acceptable paper. His dissertation involved researching the best value legislation (BVL). This involved assessing the impact of the Local Government Act of 1999 of Great Britain on public sector organizations. His literature review involved reading up on organizational strategy issues, quality, management and all the excellent reports produced by the Warwick University. His research led to the conclusion that his null hypothesis was unfounded. He concludes by saying that anyone considering doing the course should go for it. While the workload is intense it is achievable. The initial vacuum will soon subside once the first module exam and assignment have been completed. From then on it is about managing one's own work and home life around specific deadlines.
