This article provides information on conferences sponsored by the Institute of Logistics and Transport, which will be held in 2002. The conference which will be held on June 25-26, 2002 is aimed at professionals working in logistics and the supply chain. The program has attracted many industry leaders as speakers, including Martin Christopher, John Neill, John Harvey, John Hartshorne, John Allan, John Gattorna, Martin White, Martin Green, and David Garman. The second conference which will be held on July 16, 2002 is aimed at meeting the needs of professionals in the transport sector. This conference, which is offered to members at a discounted rate, will deal with all aspects of the white paper of the government of Great Britain on regional commerce, looking at it from local authority, public transport and private sector perspectives.
