ABSTRACT
Information on Dick Bak, chairman of the West and North Yorkshire Branch since 2001, were presented. He follows the successful joint-chairmanship of Chris McIntosh and Stuart Baker. Dick Bak was Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Chairman of the Institute of Logistics and Distribution Management between 1987 and 1991. He is currently operations manager at the Online Logistics Solutions Ltd., responsible for developing warehouse management and transportation systems to the third-party logistics and own account sectors. He has rejoined the organizational side of the institute's activities at the time of the restructuring proposals, by which the introduction of faculties will help in the balancing process to ensure that all members have events that meet their interests.
