ABSTRACT
This article describes the John Williams Library in Corby, England and the Buckingham Gate Reading Room in London, which offer their services to members of the Institute of Logistics and Transport. The institute's specialist library is one of the largest collections and most comprehensive sources of logistics and transport information in Europe. Members can view the contents of the institute's library catalog on the institute's Web site. For visiting purposes, the library is open from Monday to Friday and all visits are free to members. The reading room is very popular with members and holds a wide selection of current and back copies of journals, covering the full scope of logistics and transport. The reading room is a reference-only resource, which also offers members Internet access to the library catalog. Members are welcome to browse the collection prior to meetings and are also provided with the facility to connect personal laptops before and after meetings.
