The firm Cognos Inc. has launched its business intelligence technology called NoticeCast. It helps mobile executives monitor and receive alerts about commercial activity while on the move. It provides just-in-time broad-based wireless communication alerting about customer relationships, supply chain activity, sales and financial performance. It is integrated with Cognos Series 7 and sends only the personalized information relevant to an individual or group by narrow casting business intelligence reports. The software in NoticeCast determines the exact individual to whom the alert should be directed.
