The ValuSmart Tape TM640 Blade tape autoloader from Benchmark Storage Innovations Inc. features DLT scalability and optimizes rack space with its compact format using a two-unit design. It also addresses users' data protection needs through intuitive user interfaces to wean users off drives to automation. Compared with other stand-alone tape drives, the ValuSmart offers significantly increased capacity, providing random access to eight cartridges and offering maximized efficiency and data integrity. The ValuSmart has been selected by Hewlett-Packard for integration into the HP Surestore product line.
