Reporting Practices: Few Do It All

This article presents the findings of a Hyperion Solutions report on the quarterly earnings statement of companies included in the Fortune 100. The article reports on the length of time needed by companies to report earnings and how this time frame has been reduced. The author also examines some of the improvements that have been made in the performance management of Lockheed Martin Corp. Mike Gabaly, director of enterprise performance management, notes that the company has been able to reduce their close time to within a few days since the company began operating on Longview Solutions software.
