ABSTRACT
The state of Kansas has launched an attraction program targeting British and European logistics companies. The state is also offering a free information pack that details the economic and commercial facts about Kansas. The incentives are aimed at encouraging businesses to locate in Kansas, which is one of the fastest growing economies in the U.S. The information available includes practical advice on location, operating and utility costs, finance, workforce and quality of life. Kansas is located at the geographic center of the U.S., with key road, rail and air links to all markets in the U.S., Mexico and Canada. The state is easily accessible from every direction, by the Interstate highways, with overnight truck delivery to Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Memphis and Minneapolis.
