Company tax unification

In October 2001, the European Commission began work on a study into company taxation methods and levels across the European Union and produced its findings. It suggests another Brussels attempt to bring in tax standardization across the European Union. The Commission is planning on utilizing the International Accounting Standards formulations for its work.
