ABSTRACT
Speaking at The Consultancy Forum in London, England, Huntswood managing consultant Jon Tait noted that a number of companies are embracing ineffective strategies when it comes to the war for leadership talent. According to Tait, many companies falsely equate a strong leadership function with a high-profile figurehead. Consequently, resources and efforts are being dedicated to this one person at the cost of developing a strong leadership team. Tait also examined how organizations can recruit and retain a successful senior leadership team.
