ABSTRACT
Each of the special interest groups comprising the British Institute of Logistics and Transport must pursue an annual project annually. The Transport Planning sector decided to focus on local and regional transport policy. It intends to offer a constructive contribution to thinking about how best to go about the first coordinated review of Local Transport Plans. Last summer, questionnaires were distributed to the members of the group. The response have been encouraging with a large number of completed forms having been returned to the Institute's Corby Office.
