ABSTRACT
This article discusses the legislative developments in the British Parliament in relation to business logistics and transportation recent as of October 2001. On September 17, 2001, the Houses of Parliament Transport Sub-Committee sets its deadline for submission of evidence for passenger rail franchising inquiry. The Committee has decided to investigate the implications of franchising on rail services. The report critical of the Government's part privatization of the London Underground was cleared for the publication by the Court of Appeals on August 24, 2001.
