ABSTRACT
This article discusses the partnership between the British Institute of Logistics and Transport and the educational program Businessdynamics. The association is making its efforts in promoting logistics as a potential career for high school students in Great Britain. Over the course of the summer of 2001, the program has created school courses around the country. These courses have taken place at Wetherby Highschool in Yorkshire and at Firrhill High School in Edinburgh, Scotland. The courses are an ideal way to help students develop awareness and appreciation of the role of logistics in the economy. Guidelines for enrollment and program benefits are discussed.
