ABSTRACT
This article reports on the increase in the revenue of domestic rail transport operators in Great Britain. The revenue increase comes despite the drop in demand following the restrictions put on the networks after the rail disaster in Hatfield. This means that despite a deterioration in rail service performance, the demand for rail services has increased. This data comes from a market analysis document appearing in the October 2001 issue of "Rail Travel".
