ABSTRACT
When the Merseyside and Warrington Branch Committee of the Institute of Logistics and Transport decided to hold an annual dinner, there was some uncertainty about the likely attendance and financial implications. Following a lot of hard work by members of the committee and with the support of corporate sponsors who booked table, the dinner turned out to be a success. The principal guests of honor were High Sheriff Peter Toyne.
