ABSTRACT
Several congresses and special events organized by the Institute of Logistics and Transport's (ILT) Professional Development Department are presented. In January, the ILT launched the ILT Level 2 Introductory Certificate in Logistics and Transport. This qualification replaced the ILT Foundation on Logistics and provided the missing link on the transport qualifications. Two Institute Center days were held in Manchester, at the Transport and General Workers Union, and in Bracknell, at Bracknella and Wokingham College. There was also an increase in Registered and Approved Centers offering the Institute's qualification.
