ABSTRACT
The British government's Energy Efficiency Best Practice Program has produced a free video for the road haulage industry. It provides advice on fuel efficient driving and covers many aspects of best practice in driving for economy, including the role of the fuel champion and practical methods of recording and monitoring fuel usage. The video has been produced with the small to consider the condition of medium-sized operators. Available free to operators, the video covers best practice advice aimed at all sizes of vehicle operators. Field trials with a range of operators using the techniques shown in the video have shown fuel consumption savings.
