ABSTRACT
The Institute of Logistics and Transport granted a certificate of recognition to Kevin Knapp, a distance learning student of the institute for completing the Foundation in Logistics course while in prison. He started his course at HMP Littlehey near Huntingdon in June 1998 but was moved to HMP Wellingborough just days before one of his exams. He completed the course in May 1999 and was awarded Associate membership of the Institute. To mark his achievements, the institute decided to visit the prison in Great Britain and present Kevin with his certificate in person.
