The operations of the Great Britain-based distribution and logistics company, Hotpoint Ltd. may be improved by reducing operating costs and improving customer service. To establish a cost-effective and safe handling distribution operations the company has to adapt, improve and overcome issues relating to costs, customer service, distribution strategies and work hours for employees. It is imperative to strengthen the management team to motivate employees and increase productivity. Through personnel management strategies, employees are encouraged to compete and enhance the level of their performance. In addition to enhancing employee performance, technical issues relating to distribution must also be improved.
