Reports on the confusion brought about by official statements regarding the call provisions of the $597-million debt for which Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) set up repayment escrows in the United States in 1997. Confusion on whether bonds will be redeemed on the call date, left alone until maturity or repaid between said dates; Other CHI initiatives bonds with unclear redemption provisions.
