This article reports on the activities of the 2003 International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show in New York. According to this report, the show has been significantly lower in traffic than in 2002. A number of participants have re-evaluated their investments with the possibility of not returning to next year's event. Business in the hospitality segment has improved since the September 11 terrorist attacks but the expense factor could make the show unworkable. Of the decorative fabric exhibitors listed, there were eight that were conventional full line fabric houses. They included Covington, Duralee, Edgar, Fabricut, Kravet, P/Kaufmann. Robert Allen, and Swavelle/Mill Creek.
