ABSTRACT
On Friday, November 14, 2003 "Tupac: Resurrection," the new documentary feature film about the life of rapper/actor Tupac Shakur, will be released in theaters nationwide in the U.S. It will be shown on 800 screens, the largest release ever for a documentary distribution film. The film, directed by Lauren Lazin and executive produced by Afeni Shakur, Tupac's mother, is like no other film about Tupac. It's completely narrated by Tupac in his own words and through his music.
