Much of the electronic-learning industry might be stuttering along, but many companies are using it to keep staff informed of the latest regulations. Organizations need to be compliant and importantly, prove they are compliant with a host of general and industry-specific regulations or risk severe penalties. An insurance company like Royal & SunAlliance PLC has begun to use electronic-learning to help meet complaints procedure outlined by its industry watcher, the General Insurance Standards Council.
