ABSTRACT
Tesco PLC is to use a train-the-trainer approach to tutor staff on a new IT system that will automate the packaging design procedures for its brand-name products. The system which is supplied by Jam Warehouse in South Africa will control workflow and artwork for the supermarket chain's internal design and marketing teams and external suppliers. Jam Warehouse will also train Tesco trainers, who will cascade their knowledge throughout the design community. Initially, training will be in hands of the system's supplier and will then be brought in-house.
