ABSTRACT
Consolidation among business intelligence software vendors is giving enterprises a choice of integrated offerings, all from the same vendors, and the promise of reduced information technology overhead. Hyperion Solutions Corp. is extending its offerings from business performance management with plans it detailed in the month of October to integrate its software with technology it recently acquired from Brio Software. Integration efforts will focus on integrating the former Brio Performance Suite products with Hyperion's Business Performance Management suite applications, which would allow customers to combine financial data from Hyperion applications with operational data from transactional systems.
