ABSTRACT
The article focuses on issues related to determination of residual working life of equipments. One way of determining residual working life is to use models describing the physical processes that cause failure, one of which is few-cycle fatigue where a method of determining the residual life of equipment under few-cycle loading is considered. One can calculate the permissible number of cycles for the individual units in the equipment as a whole.
