ABSTRACT
Home textiles company, Pantone Inc. has changed the name of its Textile Color System to Pantone Fashion and Home to more clearly identify its 1925 color system. Key to the new system is the layout of colors with chromatic arrangements by color family compared with the previous layout by hues from brights to cools to specialty colors. Pantone executive Lisa Herbert explains that the new system will enable consumers to select their preferred colors more efficiently. The change also signifies the company's move into home and architecture. Furthermore, the changes in the color layout will enable the company to use computers for the system.
