ABSTRACT
IN redeclaring for Ireland, fast bowler Boyd Rankin has done nothing to breach the rules governing cricketing nationality. But it does feel rather disappointing that the Irishman who became an Englishman for one Test, seven ODIs and three T20 matches in 2013-14 has now decided to be an Irishman again in time for the World T20 in India. I know we live in an age of mass migration and identity politics based on self-determination. But really, you should be for one country or another.
