Home textile firm Tuesday Morning plans to put more emphasis on its high-quality sheets and upscale bath towel offerings in the last quarter of 2003. The company has experienced great success in its textiles and seasonal merchandise in the third quarter of 2003. Company president and chief executive officer Kathleen Mason has described textiles, towels and comforters as some of their best performing categories in the third quarter. She also said that some of their poor performing categories like luggage, sheets and houseware are also showing signs of recovery with respect to price points. The company has experienced improved its financial position as a result of the performance of textiles and towels sectors.
