ABSTRACT
The article presents a study that aims to characterize and quantify the polyphenolic compounds of the extract from Adenium obesum leaves obtained from Africa. It offers details of the method of the study in which the samples were deposited at the National Herbarium of Burkina Faso. The result of the research shows the presence of six polyphenols in the species and the clorogenic acid was the main phenolic acid of the extract.
