ABSTRACT
Am 8. und 9. Oktober 2015 fand auf dem Campus der Potsdamer Universität vis-à-vis dem Neuen Palais im Park Sanssouci der '5. Tag der Bestandserhaltung' statt. Die Veranstaltung wurde vom Kompetenzzentrum Bestandserhaltung für Archive und Bibliotheken in Berlin und Brandenburg organisiert. In diesem Tagungsbericht wird ein kurzer Abriss über die gehaltenen Vorträge, Speed-Präsentationen und Führungen gegeben. Themen waren u. a. die von der Koordinierungsstelle für die Erhaltung schriftlichen Kulturguts (KEK) geförderten Modellprojekte 2014 aus der Region, erste Ergebnisse der bundesweiten Umfrage zu den 'Deutschlandweiten Handlungsempfehlungen für die Erhaltung des Kulturerbes in Archiven und Bibliotheken', Abschlussarbeiten aus dem Bereich der Restaurierung und Konservierung sowie die durchgeführten Führungen. On 8 und 9 October 2015, the '5th Day of preservation of collections' took place on the campus of the University of Potsdam, just across the New Palace in the grounds of Sanssouci. The event was organised by the Kompetenzzentrum Bestandserhaltung für Archive und Bibliotheken in Berlin und Brandenburg (competence centre for the preservation of collections for archives and libraries in Berlin and Brandenburg). This conference report gives an overview of the lectures, speed presentations and guided tours. Besides other subjects, the focus was on the 2014 model projects promoted by the Koordinierungsstelle für die Erhaltung schriftlichen Kulturguts (KEK, coordination unit for the preservation of written cultural assets), first results of the nation-wide survey into 'Recommendations for the preservation of cultural heritage in archives and libraries in Germany', completing works in the field of restoration and preservation as well as the guided tours offered during the event.
